I have a image that I let people use as long as they link back. I searched on google images and found quite a few sites using this images without a link back. I email a few of them asking kindly to show me where the link is. One of them emailed me back "We do not link externally" :/

A copyright infringment.
Why not reply to the email with your monthly charge for them to use the image? State that the image can be used for free with a link back, or a monthly fee applies ;)
