Which is version of merchandise / merchandize used in the USA? I think it is the -ize version, but after a few searches I am not so sure...

Thanks

For the noun form, I have only seen the -ise version used. I have seen the -ize and -izing versions used in the verb form.

It appears that both are acceptable, though -ise is considered by many to be the more correct spelling.

To a certain extent, this looks to be an "American-English versus British-English" thing. Just try to make sure you spell the word the same way throughout a given page, and you should be okay.

Thank you both.

I am going to use the -ise version.
