I am planning to add a free classified section to one of my sites. This is aimed at a tight vertical and is very locally targeted so I don't think things will get out of hand spam wise. If necessary, I will pre-moderate any new listings until(if) it becomes unwieldy.

My question is regarding copyright, I want to prime the pump by adding a few applicable listings that I have seen locally in print. These would serve as some initial spider food and as examples of properly written listings. Since I do not plan to copy the listings word for word, only extract the info and reformat it onto my site, this would not be a copyright violation, correct?
