Since the word "eBay" is trademarked, I would like to know if I can use the word "ebayers" in a domain name I would like to register. I don't know too much about trademark laws, but I do know that if a word becomes accepted as common language, it can lose its intellectual property rights. Please advise further, thanks.

it would contact them + ask them - I know for a fact that they are examining everything very remotely that sounds like their trademark(s)

Thanks, I tried contacting them but they're taking too long to reply. I want to know if I'm waiting for nothing. Anyone else with advice or a comment?

If you really want "quick legal advice" you need to hire a quick lawyer with trademark expertise! So far as I know no trademark lawyers post here, and you'd be taking a big risk if you relied on a layperson's knowledge of this complicated body of law.

SO, my advice is to consult a lawyer.
