I have a linux webserver and need
a good script to save daily
the whole webserver data
with a directory structure and all file permissions.

The script generates a .tar.gz which contains everything in the folder structure it was put in, but I don't know about permissions for sure. Im am quite confident though, that it does hold perms/ownerships.
