What would you suggest?

Well, seeing how the Gnome Window Manager is setup it seems I would have to monkey around a bit in Gnome to get it looking like OS X right? I DO SO MUCH love KDE and the folks who make it so great! :)

I am unsure as to what you are asking. I am guessing that you are asking if GNOME has a skinnable features such as KDE bluecurve or redmond style 'skins' as you would call it. As Far as I know that Gnome doesn't have those options and if you wanted GNOME to look anything like it I would think that you would have to definatly do some configuring with it to make it look like MAC-OS X. My question is, Why don't you just use KDE? KDE is way more polished than GNOME. KDE seems to come out with more revisions and enhancements than GNOME. May I ask?

Well, I just noticed that when I started up gnome for the first time (always been a KDE user btw) it had a 1/2 bar that looked just like the dock...looked for ways to make KDE look like the "dock" and had quite a bit of difficulty.. ;(
