Firewall doesn't start

Just about managed to get my Zaurus connected to the internet through my ADSL link on main computer.

Trouble is Shorewall now refuses to start if the interface to the zaurus isn't up. I don't want to mess about with the rules every time there's a change. Is there a way around this (even if it's only a way to save and load two sets of rules)?
