I'd take 'links', or more specifically 'elinks', over 'lynx' any day. A fantastic text browser with full table, frame, colour, and cookie support.

mc -c (launches the Midnight Commander which gives me some graphical grip on things ;)
netstat -c -n -t (because I love to know if anyone actually visits my server)

If you are interested in computer security, I will be presenting an analysis of the top 75 security tools at Toorcon 2003 in San Diego, according to the nmap-hackers mailing list survey of nearly 2000 people. Fyodor created the list, but I have prepared a demonstration on effectively using the security tools. There will be a wireless network if you want to bring a laptop and try it right then and there. At least half of these tools are command-line. Most are for Unix, but perhaps a dozen are for Windows. Hackers don't use guis unless there is money involved. =)
