Operating System on a CD

Anything besides Knoppix?

I've found it interesting to test out Linix with Knoppix because it runs from a CD, and therefore doesn't need to be installed on the hard drive. I was wondering if there any other distributions of operating systems that run off of a CD.

You want to do a search for "Live CD" as thats the name for them. There are a few, couple below:

BeOS [bebits.com...]

SuSE has a Live Eval version available of SuSE Linux. ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/

Also this directory on DMOZ could be of use:

[dmoz.org...]
