Need to Buy a Modem

I am going to be spending a couple of months away from my office and will not have dsl. Going to need a modem. Can anyone recommend a brand that is a slam dunk easy install.

Running RedHat 8.

Why don't you try Red Hat's Hardware Compatibility List?

Actually any hardware modem will do, it's software modems that cause problems.

This is why I still have my External USR 56K modem. I don't think I will ever get rid of it.
