Using .htaccess redirection

Some problems

I am using the following in my .htaccess file to prevent "hot-linkers" from accessing my audio files and depleting my bandwidth allocation:

AuthUserFile /dev/null
AuthGroupFile /dev/null

RewriteEngine On

RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER}!>http://www.example.us [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER}!>http://example.us [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER}!> [NC]

ReWriteRule .*\.(jpg¦wav¦gif¦png¦mp3)$ http://www.example.com/rasberry.gif [R,L]

This works fine with my embedded mp3 files:
<embed src="nane.mp3" width=145 height=60 autostart="false">

However it does not seem to work with my embedded WAV files.

Any ideas?

First, welcome to the board.

hmmm. Interesting. Not sure there is a solution there for you. Since the htaccess is working for mp3's, then it should be for wavs as well.
