I have looked around abit for a program that can print mailing lables from a text list and address four-up postcards. M$ Office has a program that does online address verification then adds the postal barcodes and prints in several formats. I really don't want to install Office on my vmware Windows.

Is any one using anything on Linux that does this sort of thing?

I couldn't find anything a while back so I wrote my own label maker in perl/tk. It isn't what you are looking for though. What this one does is extract and format a shipping address from a order form and then print it to label.

Barcode may be tricky, but you may want to look at:
[linux.it...]
[gnu.org...]

perl
[fairfieldcomputers.com...]
