ICO to XPM

Hi,

Does anyone know how to convert windows .ico files to xpm. I've tried opening them as bmp but to no avail...

There is a winicontoppm program in the netpbm package. See [netpbm.sourceforge.net...] and more generally [netpbm.sourceforge.net...]

Once you have the ppm file, you can convert it to almost anything with the netpbm tools.

There is also ImageMagick, but that didn't give the correct result for me. YMMV

Hmmm...in the end I checked freshmeat and found iconutils, which does more or less the same thing.
