is it possible to create a dump account that is a catch-all for mistyped email addresses? i have a client who has given out several versions of the same email address and will probably give out some more versions in the future.

any thoughts? keep in mind that i am a short-bus ridin' linux admin.

thanks,
grant

Welcome, gsummerlin!

According to the LifeWithQMail.org [lifewithqmail.org]site:

qmail-local
attempts to deliver a message addressed to
localpart@host
to a local user named
localpart
. If no matching user is found, the message is delivered to the
alias
user, a pseudo-user on all qmail systems whose home directory is usually
/var/qmail/alias
.

So ... there's your catch-all.
