Hey guys, I have a very unusual problem.

I have one FreeBSD box and it can't deliver most of the email that has to go to a remote box that's sent to it through SMTP. The errors I get in the logs are connection timed out.

The really weird part is that all mail I sent from the console (using mail) is delivered.

Any ideas? I'm using sendmail with a mail scanner, I tried disabling the mail scanner but it didn't change anything.

Turned out a radio modem had issues with large packets... and all mails sent from the console were small.

It's far far away from "the world" unfortunately.
