Fedora Core 4 and Dell SC420 display problems

Linux Fedora Core 4 and Dell SC420 video card, display adapter problems

Because of the problem getting my NIC to work with Fedora C2, I have done a fresh install of Fedora C4, and now I have the following problems:

The NIC now works fine, but I have to use Text only mode to install FC4 and for any of the GUI's.

I am running a Dell SC420 Linux Fedora Core 4 (no other OS)

Should I just buy a video card? Or is there a way to get the onboard display to work?

Before you even think about installing a new OS, you should look at the supported hardware list and see if your video card is in there.
