Have you check your host.conf file?
make sure it has line
order hosts,bind

Check your /etc/hosts file make sure it has line
#*$!.xxx.xxx.xxx phoenix

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is your IP Address

i already check that and my hosts file have this two lines:

127.0.0.1 localhost
XXX.XX.XXX.X phoenix

but i still got this error my server can't resolve it's own name so apache can't work either.
