Hey people.

I'm about to move house and thought now would be a good time to do a project I have wanted to do for ages.

I want a linux jukebox.

I have seen a program called gjukebox but it's not been touched in ages.

My questions are -

Where should I start with linux? Any books/sites to recommend?

Which version?

Does anyone know of anything similiar jukebox wise?

i suggest you get a free shell account before you jump into linux, so you can get of taste what the command line is like, you will also learn a ton:
DMOZ listing of free shell providers [dmoz.org]

grex free shell accounts [cyberspace.org]
Also for the distro, if you are new you should try something like SuSE or redhat.
see Linux ISOs [linuxiso.org]
