I hope i have posted this question in the right forum. I have a problem protecting the "webstat" stats directory on a subdomain i've created on Plesk 7, within the domain itself. I hope someone cen help me deal with this problem .

This is what i have done:
1. I have created a domain in Plesk example (domain.com)
2. I have created a subdomain in the panel for the domain (sub.domain.com)
3. I have protected the /webstat directory in the domain.com panel.

the [domain.com...] is protected
the [sub.domain.com...] is not protected

The /webstat is the same directory, that is good. I want the stats from all subdomains and the domain itself in the same stats.

I have tried it with a .htaccess in the directory /webstat on the subdomain, but it won't work.

Anyone can help me, how to protect the webstat on the subdomain. Not creating a full domain entry for each subdomain.
