Hi, I'm working on a project (modifying the Linux kernel) and I need some advice about benchmarking tools, test tools, performance analysis tools...etc. I've been searching a lot and I found some good ones but they're not all working.. Some suggested that I can use a distribution like Debian or Gentoo that are designed specifically for these purposes (development purposes) and supposedly have these kind of tools "built in".
Any suggestions?
