Hey all!

After using Ubuntu Linux for quite a while I find myself quite fond of it. However, there are a couple of minor things I find annoying, most of them got to do with Gnome 2.8.

Before I used Ubuntu I used Debian with the window manager Window Maker, and one of the features I loved with it were that it can have a different background for each workspace you create.

Well, I want to have that function work with Gnome. Can it be done somehow?

Oh yeah, and while I'm on the subject; is there an easy way for me to create my own menus in the application menus etc in Gnome 2.8?

I'd be grateful for any answers, I've been like, trying on and off for the past couple of weeks to no avail... =/
