2 distros of Linux on one machine

how can I slice my partition into 2?

Hi there,
I have debian installed on my machine, I'd like to get familiar with RH. Do I have to remove my debian, or is it possible to install RH as the second OS on one machine?
I've 2 partitions: swap and the "right one". Can I slice safely somehow that partition into two? I've heard about Partition Magic, but as far as I know it is for Windows platforms.

At first glance looks really cool, I'd have to read the manual first.
Do you have any experience with using this program? I'm asking because, I'd like to know if there is a risk when you slice partitions. I don't wanna lose my data.

I played with it once and it worked, then I also wanted to resize NTFS under XP for which I used PM which is a real pleassure to work with... I almost got sad that there was only one partition to resize.

PM it's not for me..I don't have Windows installed..
Correct me if I'm wrong I'm afraid that if I use Parted or fDisk, I will lose my data..

I wouldn't take anyone's word for how safe it is. Just back your data up first. There is going to be the risk of losing data. Good luck on it!

Yeah, I think so! I'm going to reinstall that and create 3 brand new partitions for 3 OS's;)
