Understanding Top command

How do values interact?

I'm trying to monitor my dedicated web server using TOP command.

Although I've read many sources, they only explain very vaguely what some values show.

But I still cannot understand the interaction between values and how much is good or bad in each value.

In fact, I need to know how to "read" Top screen. With "read" I mean not only watching each value in its own, but how they interact and how to find what, when and why something happens.

Do you know about a good tutorial or information source?
