When using vim my backspace and delete keys don't do what they should.
In insert mode only my delete key works but it doesn't delete line endings, the Backspace key just does nothing.
My environment settings are:
$TERM = xterm
$SHELL = /bin/bash
vim version = 6.1.150
Has anyone else experienced this, it's not vital but I'm having a "spring clean" on my Linux system and am trying to sort all of these niggling things out :)
