Runnning Redhat 9 Using KDE - how to make my logitech serial scroll wheel mouse work?...it does not run on its own...by default the middle button is not working, only right/left-click is working - how does one scroll using the wheel?

I tried many stunts but failed :(

Any help? thanks in advance.

Its annoying when you can't get the mouse to work, in the shell type redhat-config-mouse try some other mouse configurations the only one that would work for me was Generic wheel mouse PS/2.

If you mouse fails to work press ALT-F2 then type in redhat-config-mouse keep trying until you find the right mouse logitech mice are usually well supported in Redhat.
