Hi guys

Hope someone can help me as this is really annoying me and confusing me.

I have a picture to explain this (see below)as it is tricky to put across in words.
<snip>

I have 3 flash movies that fit together perfectly to form a top left bottom border to a webpage with the content in the middle.

However i am having trouble with the bottom frame as ive found whichever way ive tried it, using Dreamweaver 4 (which i am new to and would prefer to use) and when i try in front page. My problem is that the window has to be exactly the right size for it to lay out properly.

I have thought about using a pop-up window that i can ensure is the right size regardless of toolbars, monitor res etc but with so many people using pop up blockers i think that the popup could well be blocked, detering alot of visitors.

Hope i have been clear enough and that someone can help

Thanx in advance

What happens to throw it off, does it move apart vertically or horizontally? Are you using tables?

Hi

Basically what happens is when the window gets taller than a certain measurement then the bottom frame sinks making the main frame bigger.

When the window gets smaller the bottom frame is pushed up making the main frame smaller.

Im not using tables as i dont know how to but i s'pose I could learn. If i put a flash movie in each cell of the table could you click a link to change the contents of a different cell (only) as thats why ive chosen to use frames.

My quick fix is to have my homepage as a very simple plain page that automatically loads a perfectly sized popup (with a link aswell incase it gets blocked) but i fear that this popup would get blocked by popup blockers and that people wouldn't bother to faff around allowing it, theyd just leave the site and not come back. Also, i know people (with 2 monitors for example) are very picky about what sizes they want their windows although this popup would only be approx 800x600 pixels/

Hope someone can help.
Thanx
