I need to scan in a form that I use, but I need to edit the form in word or something. What program should I use for this task? I had tried a regular scan for text and graphics, but that didn't work very well.
Thanks,

Why exactly do you need to scan the form? Edit in word? You mean Microsoft Word? I'm not really understanding your question.

Hi,
I have an HP scanner, and I need to scan a form in, and then edit it in Microsoft Word or some other word processing program. I tried the software that came with the scanner, but it doesn't scan the form properly. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

I assume you're trying OCR on it. OCR usually takes more time to correct than starting from scratch.
Any suggestions?
I would reconstruct it by hand.

Hi,
I was finally able to get a decent picture of the form scanned into a doc file. But it will not let me type on it. Is there a program or way to type on pictures in either Microsoft Word or any other program? Its like a customized spreadsheet.
