Which DVD Format to Burn to

For widest acceptance...

I'm in the process of getting a 900 meg image from a photographer which needs to go to my photo lab. The photog can burn the image to any DVD format I need. The lab has a laptop with a DVD player. Which DVD-rewritable format has the best chance of being read by a modern laptop?
