Pop On Adverts

Hey people.

More and more often I have been seeing these 'pop on' banners adverts (not the popUps or popUnders, but the flash adverts which go overtop of the content for a few seconds then dissapear).

Im curious if anyone knows how they are done, and if there are any great resources out there for more information about them.

I also wonder what you, the enduser thinks of them (... yeah, i know popups are generally disliked... but what about the concept of them?)

Most users dislike them. I have seen less and less of these lately which I think is a good thing. There are tutorials, but I will caution you agianst using them.
