Couple of weeks ago image from my page was stolen and used on high traffic page. Becouse it was well known page I was able to find it out. However I am afraid that there are others, who are using my pictures and I just dont know about it. How do you monitor net for your stolen images. Are there any automated methods, or good search engines?

Stolen images is a hard one. If they are linking to your server you can watch for that. I don't know about them saving and uploading them to their server. Are these art pieces?

I just did a couple of searches for images monitoring services. The rare ones I could find dont seem serious. I guess if all your images are focused to few topics, you could monitor them by hand using Google image search. But their image database is not very up to date.

Do a Google image search on some obvious phrases of pics on your site. My pics are cryptically titled in the main, but it always amazes me how many people will copy it, then give it an obvious title for me to find through Google.
You can put a traceable watermark into your images, I came across a service a while ago, you then search every now and then to find where the watermark is and so catch violators - it's not particularly cheap though.

Go to Digimarc.com I registered for free. But that is a while ago. Don't know if it still is free (didn't look like it).
