I have a friend who desperately needs help with the complicated scripting language Lingo of Director. I've already pointed him to tutorials on the web. He's taking a year long course in web design etc and has almost reached the end of it but is now ready to give up due to Lingo.

Are there any Lingo Pros here? Should I encourage him to sign up and start posting or can you recommend a better place for it?
Thankful for any help you can give. :) Time is running out.

accoring to this thread [webmasterworld.com...] message #8 Lingo seems to be close to VB - why not buying your friend a VB book or Lingo book for Easter :)

Thanks for a quick reply Leo. Unfortunately my friend lives half a globe away from here and he's in a hurry to finish his course. He must get quick and solid Lingo help asap. But thanks for the tip, good to remember for the future. :)

Depends on the help. Since lingo is very embedded in the movies it is hard to help over the web. He can give it a shot though. I know a couple people here who know lingo. :)

Probably a quicker route -- since everyone is this forum is a director lingo developer.
