I need a quality map to show the location of an office in London (so clients can find their way). Usually I would provide a link to one of those map sites. However, this is a high quality site that should have its own quality map without Ads and stuff.

Does anyone (in the UK) have experience of this?

- Where can you buy maps?
- How much do they cost?
- Are there copyright issues?

To be honest in an ad agency we used to work for we used to redraw maps, it works well cos you can get rid of any tiny roads etc that could confuse people. Used to scan a a-z page and use that as a template in illustrator and drew above it.

I used maps.com a few times and they provided very nice pictures.

A free service by mapquest lets you look at a satellite picture of your neighborhood. Very nice to provide references when driving.

bateman, technically, you're still infringing their copyright if you scan the map & then trace.

kapow, look at streetmap.co.uk and find the options for embedding their maps rather than just linking. Their mapping stock is as good as it gets - OS / Bartholemews and they have options for doing exactly what you're asking for.
