Hex to useable web color

Hoe can I convert this '818286' to the #F5...etc html jobbie?

I'm using Gimp and trying to sample a color but can't get a useable value...

That one is #515256 Do a search for "rgb to hex" and you'll find a number of online tools for conversion. The Gimp doesn't show hex?

My mistake, I think that is hex. It works fine anyway...
