Creating skyscraper banners

I need some online tools

I'm trying to create 600x120 and 468x60 skyscrapers. One of the online tools I was using keeps crapping out on me. What are my online options to creating skyscapers (or, alternatively, farming it out to someone who has done a good job of creating their own)?

I've just used programs such as Photoshop 7 for doing the banners. Im not aware of any programs that will create them for you but maybe they exist :P

Why not create it yourself in a graphics package?

What's a skyscraper banner?

A skyscraper banner is a banner that is taller than it is wide. Usually by a lot. Normally they are seen down the side of the page content.

Wouldn't that be 120 x 600 and 60 x 468?

_{not trying to be picky just wondering if I'm thinking about this backwords ;)}

No your right. W x H. Skyscrapers height should always be larger than its width. I get confused all the time too.

OT a bit but the last banner network I was with were also offering 160x600, but most were complaining about that nearly being 20% of a 800x600 screen with browser covering the whole screen :)

....wouldn't a program like Flash 5 be handy for this sort of thing?

Thanks everyone. Quinn you're right. FYI, a site whose name rhymes with zanimation has an online thingie to create skyscrapers but it keeps flaming out on me. I'm graphically challenged and just trying to find the easy way out here.

Do you mean to fly out over the content? I don't think so. I have not been too happy about this new functionality. IMHO it will only cause people to find a new reason to hate Flash and uninstall the plugin. I wish Flash player would have a setting to kill these types of ads if you didn't want them.

I just say Flash because most of the huge banners I see on the portals seem to be using flash.

A huge flash banner inside an I-Frame....what else could you ever want? :)
