On a Mac, in system 10.4.6, I am trying to convert a .mov that is 59 seconds long in to a .wmv with QT Pro 7. Everytime I try, the file is trimed to 24 seconds.

Anybody have an idea how I can get around this?

Or is there another tool I should be using?

thanks...

Are you already using Flip4Mac's wmv plugin?

Hmm, odd. Sounds like it would be worth firing off an email to Telestream. Flip4Mac is normally fairly reliable.

A slightly expensive alternative which I use for Mac-based wmv encoding is Popwire's Compression Master.

No problemo travelin_cat :)

Another possibility I just learned about, the trial version of Flip4Mac trims your source video to half its original length, with a maximum length of 30 seconds. Are you sure you aren't using the trial version?

Good luck!
