What is the optimal size of embedded Quicktime? I'm using FCP 4.5. When I choose Export-->Quicktime Conversion--> what should I choose here?

The best size for your quicktime will depend on whether you want to cater for dial-up users or broadband users.

I haven't used FCP, but it should probably give you some kbps options - go for the one that suits your audience - allowing for some slack as user connections aren't always at optimum speeds.

Resolution of 320x240 is often the best, but you can get away with 640x480 for fast connections or short clips.

... unless HQ is priority.

It is all about weighing quality against download speed.

·Size··¦·Quality·¦··Speed··
-------+---------+---------
·Small·¦···LOW···¦···HIGH··
-------+---------+---------
·Large·¦··HIGH···¦···LOW···
