Clients uploading own images to my site

Is there a programme or coding available that I can add to my site for clients to upload their own images? Is there a name for such programmes?

My site is FTP for which I have my own admin password only. The site is hosted.

does your host provide support for server scripting languages such as PHP or ASP?

If so, search in your favourite engine for "PHP image upload" or "ASP image upload" and the answers are out there. Or repost this to one of WebmasterWorld's other forums for server scripting.

User-uploaded images aren't difficult to set up, but it does require some coding and there are security concerns to be dealt with along the way. There are plenty of tutorials on this sort of thing on the www.
