image (.gif) fade in problem

title fades in problem

hi,

i'm using the above software and want to create an animation that fade's a title .gif in over about 2 seconds from a
blank(white) background

for some reason i can create a similar .gif using the text transition, followed by image transition, (selecting fade) and
this some how works in reverse - as in, the text fades 'in' rather than 'out' which is what i kind of require.

i'm happy with using this for text but can't create a similar thing just using images (as i can't use images in the text
transition to start with)

hope this at least makes some vague sense to somebody out there,

i'm open to any other pretty straight forward ways of achieving an image fade in effect as well,

any help/guidance/enlightenment would be much appreciated,

it's okay, everybody stop working on this one - i've got it sorted.

as usual, a very simple soloution - in animation shop i was selecting open file, instead of open animation, so now it does what it says on the label.

Version 5 is going to be difficult to get much advice on (PSP is up to "X" now), but if anyone can help you figure something out it'll be the folks at this forum.
