Hello everyone. I'm trying to create a graphical snapshot of a website. Normally I would use Windows XP's "Pring Scrn" function. In this case, however, the page I'm trying to capture is much longer than my desktop area.

Is there a trick or a freeware I could use to accomplish this?

So far, I've tried a few "print to pdf" programs and they don't capture the graphics as well as I would like. Any help or suggestion would be greatly apprecaited.

i tend to do multiple print screens and paste them into photoshop to line them up and delete anything not needed.

Most image editing s/w should be able to do this.

paint should probably bne able to do it if your desperate :)

Thanks for the help benihana.

Unfortunately, these pages are very long. If I did the cut'n'paste thing, it will take me weeks to finish.

Another thing is that I need to keep these pages as close to the original as possible, so an automatic transfer is preferred to something that requires human editing. :)

There is a firefox extension that will allow you to do exactly that.

Search for 'Firefox Screen Grab Extension'

Cheers, Limbo.

Fantastic! Screen Grab is the perfect solution. I love Firefox.

Thank you limbo and Benihana! You just saved me a week's worth of work. Probably saved me money on my car insurance too.
