I'm looking for graphic software that I can use to load gif or jpg images to my website. I would like to find something that is freeware, I cant afford Dreamweaver and it's too complicated for me as well. I have tried Zoner Draw 5, It could do the job but It has problems. So is there such a program that will fill my needs?

I downloaded the Gimp but I don't see how to upload or export the file as a jpg or gif file.

Are you asking for software that will upload (as in FTP) or create jpg's and gifs or both?

I don't understand, cant you upload jpg and gif via ftp?
I'm uploading jpg and gif's for the most part. Is there an advantage to ftp loading? I upload all my files to the internet via ftp.

You can create the images in Gimp, and save them as jpg or gif files. Then you need a separate program to upload them to your web server. There's a great open source (free) FTP program called FileZilla which you can use for that.
