Is there a correct way to have a "anti-" logo - specifically, the circle w/ a line through it... Would it be wrong to have it go from top right to bottom left, or does it not matter?

Most "No blankety-blank" signs go from top left to bottom right, but the idea is so simple that you can tweak it if the symbol in the middle becomes unrecognisable. Take a look at the Ghostbusters logo. They reversed it so the ghost could pop his head and arm through.

Thanks everyone...

Someone on another forum provided this link:
[thefreedictionary.com...]

It explains the symbol's roots in heraldry & it goes from top right to bottom left.
