Hi All,

My website will contain pictures of a lot of scanned documents.

Some of these documents are 8X11 and some are weird. like the legal size ones.. i think 8X14. I scanned it using my office scanner.

I did the my best to use low DPI or whever, but each documents still turn out to be 200-1000K. Since I will have about 1000 documents to be VIEWED on my website.. it simply will not work.

I wonder what solution I have to strink the size?

These documents are like the flyers we see from best buy or what not.. in colors. However, I don't care about colors, I just want the words to be viewable.

Can someone provide me some input? from the scanning to addition work I can do to make the files smaller?

Do you have Photoshop or Fireworks?

if so this might be of help to reduce the file size for a folder of scans
