Image Contains Errors

Image won't display..

This is wierd, I've never seen anything like this before.
After creating a site for a friend, and uploading my images, one of my image fails to display. When visiting the full url to the image a blank page with the following text is shown;

"The image “http://www.example.com/dir/images/image.PNG” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors."

I took a screenshot of the orignal image and croped and saved that over the original. Changed its name before and after uploading, but still the error was there.

I have no idea as to why this error is appearing, but I'm sure it is related to my hoster rather than the actual image as I uploaded the image to another server and it was fine.

Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening and suggestion to fix this problem.

Did you save the image as .png or .PNG? This may make a difference.

Oranjy: I've had that problem before. Try removing the image from the server and uploading it again. It must have been disturbed while it was uploading and didn't finish correctly.

That should fix the problem.

To kodaks, ye I tried both .png and .PNG and had the correct url in my html.

To faltered, I'm sure I did this, but I will try again.
