1. Is it legal to use thumbnails low-res photos from royalty free images sites without any payment at my site?

2. Is it legal to use the photos in mid-res (after clicking the thumbnail photo) from here without any payment at my site? <domain removed>

3. If I don't buy the high res pictures, and use the low-res thumnails on my site how can they know I did not buy it?

Thanks

The answer to the first two questions is "no".

The answer to the third question is there is no easy way to tell, but the stock photo site, or anyone who purchased that image, can ask you for proof of payment. Then you are on the path to a lot of trouble from there.

You can be a theif if you want, but it is not a sustainable model for a lucrative website. There are plenty of free stock photo services out there (http://www.sxc.hu/) and low cost services (http://www.photos.com/) but you get what you pay for.
