After looking at many templates I found a few and purchased them over at Template Monster. They said they would be sending me the download within 15 minutes after verifying payment. I gave them my credit card number and the number on the back of my card. They sent me an email asking me to scan my drivers license and send it to them. I checked my back account and they already took the amount out (in the hundreds). I was not about to send them more personal information. Now, I've refused to send them more info and they have my money. Anyone else been ripped off by them?

No. I bought for templates from them for some sites that I've had sitting for several years and they didn't ask for my license.

It was somewhat of a hassle getting them to actually send the download links to me.

It said they would call immediately to verify but I never heard from them so I emailed them about 5 times and called them and left messages.

The next day I finally got email from them with my download links.

Other than the 24 hours it took to get them, I had no problems.

I know a bit about this industry and believe me it is rampant with credit card fraud. TM is reputable as far as my experience goes and I'm sure in the end you will be treated fairly even if it takes longer than you wish. In disclosure I do have a business relationship with them.
