I have been using Photoshop CS2 and it was working fine, but Something has happened to my layers pallette. I can see the small box with the eye in next to each layer, but the little box next to it has dissappeared. I can't link any layers as this option is greyed out on the pallette and the dropdown menu as well.

I think that I've deselected something unintentionally, how do I get it back?

Hi Shehallion1

Welcome to Webmasterworld :)

Your problem is not one I can look at directly till monday (don't have cs here), but sounds to me like a work space or file type issue. Have you changed from RGB? or are you using PNG ....?

I was using RGB jpeg images, the column next to the layer is just not there now, only the visibility column is showing. I have tried other file types, but still get the same. This is just baffling me now.

I have found out that Photoshop CS2 has done away with this feature. Apparently To Link layers you have to shift-click the layers and then link them. I have just got the program, I think I need more time to get familiar with the new changes in it.
