But the major problem is with the COLORS. When i assign any color to a object, it looks different on the laptop screen and different on the normal computer screen. This completely kills the look of the site. And it is important for the site to look good on various screens as it is an ecommerce website.
I tried so much but I think I am missing out on something. Can someone please help me?
There is very little you can do, except try to stick to, or close to, the so called 'web safe' colour palette.
You cannot possibly test on all the types of screens that may be used to access you site, so do the best you can and test with what you have.
Coreldraw uses a standard generic color profile for the monitor and that gives for most monitors the wrong colors.
if you have a disk that comes with your monitor install the drivers and change the profile in coreldraw to that of your monitor.
If you don't have a disk maybe you can find it on the internet.
