First of all, when I create a graphic that has a background layer slightly faded so the foreground layer stands out more, the faded layer does not get saved as being faded - it remains in the unfaded state.
Secondly, today I noticed that when I feathered the edges of an image, when I went to save it, the edges were no longer feathered. The parts of the image that were effected by feathering were still affected, but they were not feathered - just a hard edge as if it were cropped that way.
This is happening with .gif images with transparent backgrounds, and I have been doing these same things with images for years, so it's not like I'm a newbie at it or anything. :) But suddenly it's not working. Any ideas why?
