Here's another one for you Photoshop gurus. If you have a wide image (like a banner), is it possible to cut that image in half and then save the image. I know in Photoshop you can use the eraser tool to erase but can you cut?

Either go to "Image" and canvas size and put in 50% for the width or you can select half the image and go to "Image" and crop.

That worked wonderfully. Thanks. Is there a way now to sharpen an image while keeping it the same size in Photoshop?

Filter, Sharpen, Unsharp Mask. Don't over-do it!

Bubzeebub, I think it would be well worth your time and money to get a decent Photoshop tutorial and go through it. ;) The program can do pretty much anything, but it takes forever to learn all the tricks on your own.
