* Damaged Corel Draw 5 Disk

I found this forum using Google in search for Corel 5 clipart. Google turned up a post in this forum of another Corel 5 user. I sent this user a Sticky Mail but not sure if that worked or not.

I am a registered owner of Corel 5 and have used it for years. I own a Sign Shop in NC and often use a variety of clipart sources to aid with logos & design.

Years ago my Corel 5, Disk 1 was partially damaged from a defective CD Rom. Upon opening the CD tray, the disk had not stopped spinning & a severe ring of scratches on the outer edge of CD appeared. As a result, a handful of directories were damaged. I have tried several devices for removing scratches as well as software recovery programs but have been unsuccessful. I also contacted Corel but it is unavailable from them as well.

I have everything that will copy backed up. Below is a list of what is un-recoverable. If anyone can please help me, I can prove ownership. It appears I lost a total on the whole disk of about 77 mb, but I am more concerned with the 55 mb of lost clipart.

Clipart Directories Lost = 54.5 mb

I have just checked in the archives (CD case) and I "Still" have the original disk one and two, if you sticky me your address I will post them to you.

Must be nearly 10 years since I last used coreldraw 5, good program in its time though.
